    This article is about the use of data mining techniques to further understand and possibly predict earthquakes. The article states that they are using data mining technologies to determine seismic stresses that trigger earthquake events. Hopefully, this study will lead to better predictions of earthquakes to potentially save peoples’ lives.

    Hi Felix, this is an interesting topic! Hopefully they will also be able to apply their findings and new understanding to developing countries that seem to be affected the most by earthquakes. I’m thinking some early detection signs or something like that could help people better prepare themselves for an oncoming earthquake.
