While decision making seems to be a great science, is there a way to incorporate human factors into it? Such as going out of your way to spend time and money to make customers feel valued? Some this could stem from principles of the owners and not necessarily from a money-making perspective and there could be other behavioral systems that may not make sense but do still exist. How would decision making or data science incorporate these into effect?
I have the same question. I would like to combine behavioral decision-making/economics with Industrial Engineering. The first thought I had was the connection of human factors from Industrial Engineering. But I’m not sure what this would look like in the professional world.
