    Hello,

I am thinking about learning Python at sometimes but I don’t have extra credit to take Python class in school. I am wondering is there any recommended learning resources (books/open course…etc) for Python? I have taken 3 computer sciences classes in UW-Madison so I am relatively familiar with general computer science concepts. I can usually read and understand Python, however I am generally weak at actually programming and I can barely programming anything…

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jean,

Udemy has really good courses for learning python. You can select from the basics python to also data mining and machine learning application in Python. The courses are pretty affordable around $20-30 per course with lifetime access and practise files. You can also post questions and the instructor replies to your questions.

You can also try Lynda using your wisc id to access free learning materials.

    Hope this helps!

    Dolina
